PUBLIC NOTICE:

The Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas has the legal authority to appoint two (2) members to join the three (3) County Commissioners on the Luzerne County Correctional Facility Prison Board. The position does not provide a salary and consists of a one (1) year term, renewable annually.
Any interested adult citizen of Luzerne County may provide a letter of intent which highlights the applicant’s educational and employment histories and includes a list of three (3) references. Criminal record checks may be conducted. All submissions will be available for public inspection and must be received in the Office of Court Administration no later than noon on Friday, February 20, 2009, and addressed, as follows:
